Open one's eyes, ears and mind.

Too many people choose not to live. Instead, they spend their lives fretting. Worrying. About this and that. I find that hard to understand. Oh, maybe not. Maybe it's easy to understand. Because I used to worry and fret. That seems like a long time ago. But then I decided to live. To truly live. To embrace the wonders of life. I concluded that was why the Creator gave me life. To savor. Certainly, I could still find ample reason to fret and worry. But I can also find just as many reasons to not fret and worry. To fully embrace the wonders of life. Hard for me to fathom why so many people choose to be unhappy. When really, they have a choice. They can pursue happiness and find it. Usually, by falling in love. With something. Or with somebody. With life, in general. Just look around. Open one's eyes, ears and mind. --Jim Broede
