Funny in an incautious way.

I know people who live cautiously. Too cautiously. They hardly ever take risks. Therefore, they have played life safely. Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually.  They abhor/fear adventure. I’d not want to live that way. I take chances. Especially when it comes to meeting people. I cultivate strangers. Furthermore, I walk naked into the world.  I’ve nothing to hide. I speak my mind. My emotions, too. Some of my friends caution me to be more cautious. To hide my real self. Especially to strangers. But usually, I don’t. I’m forthcoming. Ask me a question, and you’ll get a straight answer. Maybe a funny answer. Because I’m a funny sort of guy. In an incautious way. –Jim Broede
