Just a mere random thought.

Maybe consciousness is the equivalent of being god. Just being alive, and being aware. Of one’s existence. Though it’s possible that god isn’t consciously aware of his existence. If so, maybe I’d rather not be god. But something less. A conscious being. Which really might be better than being an unconscious god. Maybe consciousness is the ultimate form of life. But then, maybe my consciousness isn’t true consciousness. Only an illusion. Perpetrated by god. As a profound joke. Maybe all I am is a thought. On god’s mind. And I’m not real.
