A caregiver asked me, “Do you just face the fact that everyday will be a battle?”

I told her that I never look at a day as a battle. Instead, I find reason to savor the day. Actually, to savor the moment. The now. Daily. I find reason to be happy. Despite everything. Maybe that’s why I’m sometimes perceived as nuts. Yes, I insist on being in love. With life. One way or another, I’ll find ample reason today to jump high in the air and click my heels.
