You must forgive me.

You tell me your name really is Deloren. I suppose that could be taken either way. Put an 's' at the end in place of the 'n' and it becomes Delores. I suppose an 'n' does masculinize it a little bit. But maybe that makes it moreorless neutral. Transgender. But in most recent posts, you've gone by 'anonymous.' There are so many of 'em around here, it's almost impossible telling one from the other. Very confusing, indeed. Like being at a masquerade party on Halloween night. Little wonder that I could make an identity mistake. If so, you must forgive me. --Jim Broede

One more reason people prefer to remain *anonymous*.

In a face-to-face debate, you wouldn't stand a chance against me. And you know it. --Jim

I'd show the world what you really are. --Jim

I do not disagree. But, whenever someone does use their *name* you either take nasty personal jabs, for no reason, or make fun of their names. Just letting you know why names are not likely to be used here.

Tell me, when did anyone use their real full name here? Certainly not anyone that has hurled slurs. Not any of you gutless wonders. --Jim

I have used my "name" and have been treated unkindly.

NOBODY should use their "real full name" on the internet! Anyone with common sense knows that! IF you really are Jim Broede, I hope you don't tick someone off, real bad.

No, Maebee, you haven't used your full real name. The closest you've come is to using your real first name. Which is Nina. But you haven't used your surname. Your married surname. Or your maiden name. You continue to hide your real identity. --Jim

I really am Jim Broede. And I've used my real name all my life. And I've lived a very public life. As a newspaper reporter. A writer. I've never used a pseudonym. I've been open and above board. That's always seemed natural. I'm a free spirit. I'm not afraid to let people know what I feel and think. I'm open. I believe in venturing out into the sunshine. Into the world. And being honest. You get what you see. Unfortunately, though, some of you are blind. Even when your eyes are open. Because your minds are closed. --The real Jim Broede

You may think our minds are closed, but this internet is open to anyone, around the world. Those who need to know, know.

"No, Maebee, you haven't used your full real name."

That is why I wrote "name"-as in "internet name". I value some privacy and have enough recognition as it is.

I don't want to send my information(that I choose to keep private) around the world wide, thank you. I would rather enjoy the internet as I am, with some degree of safety. Why are you so obsessed with getting names? Spooky.

If you didn't like the responses you get you would remove the comment option.

I'm not obsessed with getting names. I just think it's not right to hurl personal slurs without identifying one's self. Ain't fair. Because then one doesn't take responsibility for one's comments. Some of the slurs are based on erroneous information and constitute libel. At least if I slam someone, they know exactly where it's coming from. I'm real and with a real name. If I'm gonna slam someone, I'll be forthright about it. I'm not gonna use a pseudonym or some made up Internet name. I have more integrity than that. That's the way I've operated all my life. I see no reason to change now. Integrity is a big thing with me. --Jim Broede

I welcome comments. But I screen them. Because I ain't gonna allow idiots, kooks, jackasses and assholes seize control of my blog. If you are reasonably polite and courteous you get printed. Even if you criticize me. Most of the time, Maebee/Nina, you pass muster. You may not be the brightest bulb on Earth, but you generally have an acceptable sense of decency about you. And you must be good-natured. Because you like being a clown, and readily admit it. You aren't ashamed of it. And I like that about you. You may very well be a natural born clown. And that's a compliment. That makes you an entertainer, too. You get published often in this blog because you are entertaining. In your own unique way. You know you are welcome here. And I don't say that to all of your lady friends. The ones that tend to be guttersnipes. You could keep better company. But that's your business. --Jim

See? Tsk, tsk.

I like my Friends, just the way they are. They are true.

Think about it, Maebee. We may have a lot in common. I'm not the brightest bulb on Earth, too. And I like my friends, just the way they are. Because they are true. And hey, I know how to clown around, too. --Jim
