As far as I'm concerned, it's tit for tat. Republicans are crying holy hell because Democrats appear ready to pass health care reform legislation through a process called reconciliation. That requires only a simple 51-vote majority in the Senate. Makes sense to me. Because the Republicans threaten to filibuster the legislation. That would require a super majority 60 votes to pass a bill. Anyway, that's the way the game of politics is played. You find a way to outmaneuver the opposition.
