Evidence that he's a big, fat idiot.

The evidence is mounting. To prove that Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot. "I'll just tell you this," the conservative pundit said. "If this (health care reform legislation) passes and it's five years from now and all that stuff gets implemented -- I am leaving the country. I'll go to Costa Rica." Of course, that brings joy to many a liberal heart. Health-care reform will not only cover 30 million Americans and reduce the deficit, but it'll also get rid of Rush Limbaugh. Liberals find that hilarious. Because the country he chose has a socialized health care system. --Jim Broede

Well, maybe Costa Rica has a good plan. The one that is being shoved through, is not. The flaws that are in it will be disastrous. Wait and see.

The nice thing about some disasters is that they can be fixed. With time, With fine-tuning. It's like taking a journey. One can become lost. But eventually find one's way again. And the whole process may turn into quite an adventure. A learning experience. The important thing is to finally reach your destination. --Jim

If this sham goes through, we will be taking one step forward, and about 50 backward.

The question asked of Rush Limbaugh was where he would GO FOR HEALTH CARE...not where he would live.

You say the reform will cover 30 million people. When all is said and done, it will forcibly try to cover at least 409 MILLION citizens, as all of us will quickly be required to accept the government plans. A recipe for an unfixable disaster. The price we will have to pay has not been thought through.

Thought is in the mind of the beholder, Maebee. Maybe you haven't thought things through. But others have. Trust me. That's better than trusting yourself. Let me be your leader. Follow me. I will lead you to the promised land. --Jim

But facts ARE facts, Jim, and you admit you haven't even looked at the things that are in this bill. By your own admission, I have more knowledge about this than you do. You and so many, many others are in for a rude awakening. I, for one, am sickened that my children and grandchildren are going to inherit this folly.

While it is true, that if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything, make sure what you are standing for is right.

I would NEVER support anything, simply because of the party that endorsed it, or proposed it.

I am not left, right, liberal, conservative. I am informed. I notice you still do not directly address issues I present. That is the first clue, that you really do not know about this.

I actually voted for Obama. I still believe in him, but not this health plan.

You think you have knowledge, Maebee. But you don't have knowledge. That's your problem. Thinking you know when you don't know. That handicaps you. You'll never find your way out of the morass if you don't even know that you are lost. Maybe you are in an eternal state of hibernation. --Jim

Another thing, Maebee. I am not right wing or conservative. I am left and liberal. I am informed. I notice you still do not directly address issues I present. That is the first clue, that you really do not know very much. --Jim

Take note, Maebee. I actually voted for Obama. I still believe in him, and in his health plan, too. That puts me one step ahead of you, doesn't it? --Jim

Sure does...right on the rim of the volcano that is about to blow.

What did I not address??

That ain't a volcano, Maebee. It's a beautiful valley full of wild flowers. Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. If you stepped up, you'd see. Don't be afraid. Trust me. Come. Hold my hand. You imagine volcanoes and hell. Instead of a serene and tranquil valley. I am looking at Paradise. --Jim

You are missing so much, Maebee. Do you want to live in hell all your life? Paradise is so much nicer. --Jim

Tell me the truth, Maebee. Are you smoking something these days? Are you still trying to break the smoking habit? It can be hell, can't it? --Jim
