It's a dandy.

David Brooks is right of center. In other words, a conservative. Probably a Republican, too. But still, I like him. Because he's a decent, well-mannered, thoughtful conservative. Too bad more conservatives aren't like him. We liberals would love talking to him. Reaching accord. Compromise. We'd get the nation's problems solved on a bipartisan basis.
