How to make the economy healthy.

Maybe the economy is bad because workers can't afford to buy anything. They're underpaid. Or unemployed. And far too poor. So, what do we do about it? We put everybody back to work. And pay them decent wages. Now the bulk of the nation's wealth is concentrated in the hands of the very rich. And they tend to horde far more than they spend. Therefore, much of the money goes out of circulation. That wouldn't happen if we gave the poor and the middle classes bigger portions of the pie. They'd spend and spend and spend. And make the economy function in a healthy way. -Jim Broede
