I had to answer my own questions.

I know people that don't like to answer questions. Maybe because they don't like the answers. Or they're just lazy. Or it gets too personal. So many reasons. But I like questions. I invite questions. Welcome questions. I'm asking myself questions almost all of the time. Trying to figure out the intricacies of life. I used to write for newspapers. And I had to interview people. And so I asked questions. One after another. Even questions I hadn't planned to ask. Because one question always seems to lead to still another question. Endless questions. When I first became conscious. As a youngster, maybe at age 2 or 3. I was baffled. I didn't know what was going on. I barely knew that I was alive. But then I discovered that I could discover what life is all about. By asking questions. But often, the people around me didn't have answers. So I had to learn to answer my own questions. --Jim Broede

Jim, I think the same way! When my kids have said "why do you ask so many questions!" I tell them that "I love questions and better yet I love answers!"
