On staying in a groove.
I’m always in a groove. Because I know how to stay in a groove. Even if things go wrong. I simply exercise, physically. And sit down and write. For mental therapy. And spend time with my true love. For love therapy. A combination of the three always works. And even one of three often works. Guess that means I have simplified my life. By knowing how to find my groove. That keeps me happy and functioning at a remarkably high level. I suppose it also helps that I am spending the winter in Sardinia in the Mediterranean Sea. Yes, in Paradise. No place I’d rather be. The only blemish in my life is the fact that I occasionally get annoyed. Usually over something relatively trivial. But all I have to do is remind myself that I’m in a groove. My life is going right. So it’s silly to get upset over trivial stuff. I much prefer staying in a groove. –Jim Broede
