I left feeling mellow and satisfied.
An unexpected pleasure this afternoon. My true love agreed to let me take her to lunch. At a place called Sylvania. Near Antioco. The restaurant has a set menu. One specialty each day. Today it was fish. Mixed with spaghetti pasta. I'd never have ordered it on my own. If I had multiple choices. So I took what was served. And liked it. Yes, I was more or less forced to experiment. And thank goodness. I had crabs. And mussels. And other kinds of fish. All caught nearby. In the Mediterranean Sea. We had white wine. And I finished the meal off with expresso coffee, and a special fruity Sardninan apertif called mirto. I left feeling mellow and satisfied. --Jim Broede
