Maybe I've never had a lazy day.
Instead of walking this morning, I'm sitting on a park bench. In the city of Carbonia. In Sardinia. Being lazy. I suspect I don't spend enough time being lazy. Albeit, on second thought, I'm not sure there is such a thing as lazy. Being lazy, after all, is a form of pleasure. A time for me to relax. And to think. And write. Which is what I'm doing now. With pencil and paper. Therefore, I am doing something productive. Maybe I'd define lazy as being totally unproductive. And even if I'm doing nothing, I am doing something. Maybe I'm napping. And that's productive. Because it's time spent refurbishing and revitalizing me. Maybe I've never had a lazy day in my life. The way I look at it, I'm always accomplishing something. --Jim Broede
