I've done a pretty good job of it.
Some people tell me they don't create their own realities. I don't believe 'em. Instead, they tell me they are realistic. That they have no need to create a reality. Again, I say, baloney. We perceive life in different ways. In essence, we create a reality with our perceptions. Our own reality. And I contend that each of us has great flexibility in determining our reality. Our focus. Our whole attitude toward life. I'm not saying my reality applies to other people. Only to me. This is the way I look at the world. At life. At reality. I'm a romantic idealist, a free-thinker, a liberal, a lover. All those things. Because I choose to be. This is the me that I have created. At least in my mind. Sure, maybe I'm fooling myself. Into thinking I'm something I'm not. And if so, I've done a pretty good job of it. --Jim Broede
