Believing his own lies.

If someone lied to me day in and day out, I'd try to steer clear. No sense in keeping contact. If he/she were a friend, I'd probably break off the relationship. Or get him/her help. Because it's not nice to lie. And if one lies in a malicious way, it's even worse. That's certainly the case with Mitt Romney. He's a nasty sort of liar. And from what I gather, he never goes a day without lying. Many times. And people around him put up with it. Maybe because he's a powerful man. Might even become president. Because some people believe his lies.    Or maybe they think it's all right to tell lies in order to get ahead. To become the president, for instance. I find that astounding. And immoral. Romney claims to be a devout Mormon. But I'm not sure I can believe that. Because Romney lies about other things. So why not lie about his faith? Could be that Romney even lies to his wife and his kids and to all his friends and acquaintances.  Maybe Romney even lies to himself. By believing his own lies. --Jim Broede
