My life and death options.

If I’m the creator, every living creature would get several after-death options. One could choose from a wide range. Everything from total oblivion  to everlasting life in various forms. Of course, some suicidal-bent beings may  choose nothingness. But hey, given options, they may decide otherwise. I’d offer reincarnation alternatives. Such as coming back with no memory of a past life. Or maybe as a cat, dog, cow, goat or turtle. The adventuresome and curious might try it. Knowing full well that they can’t be sure whether they’ll  be slaughtered or made a pet or end up a fun-loving and thriving animal in the wild.  But after death, they’ll still be able to take human form again. In another life. But I’d also give everyone the opportunity to choose eternal life as a spirit. Not coming back at all. But living a completely spiritual life. Very similar to the creator himself. About as close as one could come to being an equal with the creator. One would then have conscious knowledge of all previous lives. But with no desire to return to human or animal form. Maybe I’d also offer a chance to become a mindless inanimate object, such as a rock or a Republican. Or a living mindless thing, such as an oak tree or a rose bush. Oh, and one more option. One could come back to life on another planet in another part of the vast and endless cosmos. A difficult choice for me. I’d probably choose the latter. Unless I’ve already done it. Then give me the everlasting spiritual life. Next to the creator.   –Jim Broede.
