We need more guys like Bruno.
I like Bruno. Because he’s Italian. And pro-labor. For 25 years, he represented trade unions. In Sardinia. Of course, like me, he has an empathy for labor. For the working man and woman. They generally don’t get a fair shake. Especially in the new global economy. Corporations go where they can get the cheapest labor. Doesn’t matter that they often have huge, obscene profits. Seldom shared with labor. Instead, the managers and stockholders get the lion’s share. Bruno and I would like to see a worldwide revolution. To change the system. So that labor gets a bigger share of the wealth. That would narrow the gap between the rich and the poor. It’s going to take better labor organization. More and stronger unions. A sense of moral decency when it comes to distribution of wealth. Means we need more guys like Bruno. Working for the common good. –Jim Broede
