Sacred status for social security.

Sacred. That’s the way I’d treat social security. Wouldn’t toy with cutbacks. Instead, I’d try to expand the program. Make social security better and better and better.  Conservative politicians want to reduce social security benefits. Suggesting that it’s necessary in order to balance the federal budget.  I have a better idea. Raise the tax rates on the rich. Channel the proceeds into social security. And into other socialist programs. Thing is, America ain’t a poor country. Maybe the richest country in the world. Let's redistribute the wealth. To serve the common good. –Jim Broede
