Finding reason to laugh.

Sometimes, I refuse to talk seriously to certain people. Including my Italian true love. Because they go through moments of taking themselves far too seriously. Isn’t good for their mental health. Better that they lighten up.  I know. I’ve gone through such periods. And they’re laughable.  Unless, of course, it’s a life or death situation. Which may happen once or twice in a lifetime.  Oh, I’ll make an exception for my true love. If she absolutely insists on serious talk. But I discourage it. Because life  shouldn’t be taken too seriously. One must look for humor. And the lightness of being. One must fall in love with life. In order to get the most from life. Once I lose my temper. And get downright angry. That’s a bad sign. That I’ve lost control of a situation. Often, I regain control. By finding reason to laugh. Mostly at myself. But at others, too.  –Jim Broede

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. See the link below for more info.
