Let the sky fall. It won't hurt.

Had a disturbing dream this morning. That the sky was falling. I’ve been telling my Italian love. In a joking way. That the sky won’t fall. She’s something of a worry wart. Imagining that if something can go wrong, it will. Including a collapse of the sky. So I keep reassuring her. The sky is hooked to the sun. And to the moon. And to the stars. Nothing to worry about. There are back-ups. Safeguards. But in the dream, I was the worrier. And it didn’t feel good. I’m taking the dream as a message. No sense in worrying. Even if snow and rain fall from the sky. It won't hurt. So let the whole sky fall. I won’t be crushed. It’ll have a soft, soothing landing effect. –Jim Broede
