In tune with the Russian mind.

The happenings. In Crimea. Seem so natural. Because they are orchestrated by Vladimer Putin. He of the Slavic/Russian mind. Putin knows that the vast majority of Crimean  would vote to secede from Ukraine. And join Mother Russia. The place of their ancestral and spiritual roots.  They speak and think and dream in Russian.  So let them be Russian. They revere autocratic leaders/rulers/czars. The likes of Putin. It’s their way. Coming out of a socialist tradition. Nothing wrong with that. They merely see socialism as good. And Western-style capitalism as not quite so good.  It’s their choice. My choice, too. Makes me in tune with the wonderful Slavic/Russian mind. –Jim Broede
