Learning the truth.

I’m for a massive exchange program. Russians coming to America. For visits. En masse. And the other way around. Americans going to Russia. In droves. So that we get a better feel for each other. For the cultures. And every-day life.  It would be nice if a Russian retiree came to Minnesota. For a year. And lived in my home. With me. A great opportunity for me to show him the good and bad of America.  Then I could return with him. Live in his environs for a year. To learn of Russian ways. Wouldn’t hurt, too, if we learned each other’s language. My guess. We’d both learn the truth. And isn’t that supposed to set us free?  --Jim Broede
