An American tradition.

The casualties. Of senseless war. Come home. To haunt us all.  On the average, 22 soldiers/veterans commit suicide. Every day.  Little wonder. War devastates the soul. Now another mass shooting and suicide. At Fort Hood.  In Texas. An Iraq veteran. Goes berserk. He was being evaluated. For post-traumatic stress disorder. The war is over. But the killing isn’t. In a violent nation. Where everyone seems entitled. To bear firearms. An American tradition. Violence. And more violence. –Jim Broede
