When I have today.

I capture the moment.  A foot of snow. Overnight. On the 4th day of April. It’s not supposed to be this way. So I muse. How wonderful. An extension. Of winter. No lamenting. Or anguishing. No wishing for something else. I accept. And savor. The moment. The pulse beat of life. No need to hurry. Into spring. Or summer. Or autumn. Better to be joyful. That winter lasts. Like love. No reason to rush. Into tomorrow. When I have today. –Jim Broede
