Better to savor the feast of life.

One of my biggest challenges. Is to keep from spreading myself thin. From doing too much.  I need to focus on a few things. Rather than many. It’s a trap. Always something more to do. Instead of focusing on the task at hand, I begin to think too much about the next project, the next commitment. I get ahead of myself. I try to do too much. That poses a danger. Of doing everything in a half-ass manner. I’m often told that I should do this and that. That I should be doing more. As if it’s never enough. But I counter. That life should be pursued in a slow and leisurely manner.  No hurry. Better to savor the feast of life. –Jim Broede
