One can be happily unhappy.

I have a happy imagination. Maybe that's the secret to happiness. Very, very easy for me to imagine being happy. Therefore, I am happy. Of course, I'm also capable of imagining being unhappy. But I find that very difficult. It's a strain. Hard work. A task. So I decide to take the easy alternative. Telling myself that I was born to be happy.  And in love. With life. Maybe others were born to be unhappy. And for them, that comes easy. Natural. To be forlorn and morose. Makes one wonder if that's an unusual but legitimate form of happiness. After all, they are being their true selves. Yes, I can imagine everyone being happy. In unique and upsidedown ways.  Think about it. One can be happily unhappy.  --Jim Broede
