More wild than civilized.

Some philosophers tell me. That we are born without an essence. And that’s supposed to be good news. Because that gives us the opportunity. To create our own essence. Generally, I like that idea. It gives mankind the possibility of living like wild animals. Or like a civilized society. With a spiritual essence. I suspect that we are somewhere in between.  But still more wild than civilized. --Jim Broede
