Give me a new America.

Let’s remake America. Tear it down. And start from scratch. We need a new, modern Constitution. Not a hand-me-down relic from the 18^th century. It was for another time, another place. Let’s replace old and stale ideas with new and invigorating ideas. I don’t hold any particular reverence or animosity for the nation’s founders. They were basically good and well-intention guys. But impaired. Loaded with all kinds of political and moral faults. Their pronouncements for equality were hypocritical bunk. They embraced slavery. And relegated women to second-class servitude. Inequality was the rule of the day.  We’re still trying to fix it. A huge step in the right direction. Would be a convention. To draft a totally new Constitution.
