No more meaninful thought.

I wonder. If as a society. We are immersed in a cult of personality. Rather than ideology. Could be. That’s the way it’s always been. We Americans. Drawn to personalities. In politics and the social order. With no particular rhyme or reason. Political, social and economic issues don’t matter anymore. Instead, we’re swayed by the personality of the moment.  Yes. Yes. Far easier taking the shallow way out. Lured by the most entertaining schtick. It’s strictly show business.  Don’t bother us with meaningful thought. --Jim Broede
