What if I stopped asking?

How does one determine whether a life is meaningful? My life. Your life. Everyone’s life. How many of us take time to reflect?  Philosophically. Or any which way. On such a question. Maybe many of us hesitate to ask. Because we are afraid. That there’s no answer. Or that we’d have to admit. That our lives are totally meaningless. Well, anyway, I ‘m asking. Everyday, I’m asking. Mainly for the fun of it. I always come up with tentative answers. To keep me going.  And stimulated. I wonder what would happen. If I stopped asking. Probably nothing. --Jim Broede
