We must find solace.

It’s all right. If America goes to Hell, politically. Won’t bother me. I’ll merely ignore it. And get on with the rest of life. Thing is. I can’t control the political situation. And a whole lot of other things, too. Little wonder. That I’ve become laid-back. And accepting of life.  The way it is. Like it or not. That’s my secret. Acceptance. And avoidance. Whenever that’s possible. I even accept Donald Trump. As part of the American fabric. If the Italians learned to accept putrid  Silvio Berlusconi over a disastrously long period of time, we Americans can stolidly suffer our way through Trump. We must find solace. In the knowledge. That Trump won’t be around forever. --Jim Broede
