A harmless opinionated bloke.

There’s something I like. About being politically powerless. Gives me more freedom.  To decide what’s right or wrong. On hot political issues. After all, my opinion really doesn’t matter. I’m not an office-holder. Instead, I’m a nondescript sideline observer. With absolutely no political clout.  Therefore, who cares? About my opinion. Nobody. Of course, it would be different. If I were a member of Congress.  My vote might count. I’d be a potential decider. I could be held accountable. But not so in my role as a harmless opinionated bloke. --Jim Broede
