What about the rest of you?

Life is meant to be lived. With the presumption of an afterlife. Doesn’t matter. Whether there really is. But it’s best to assume. (At least for me.) That when death comes. I’ll be stepping into a new and wondrous reality. If not, so be it. I’ll finally be proved wrong. Without knowing it. I’d rather live in anticipation of something. Rather than in denial of my most fervent wish. That’s the proper way to get through life. With a brilliantly concocted ending. Of living happily ever after. Yes. Yes. Give me a fairy tale existence, please. So far, so good. I’m thrilled to death. Living it. What about the rest of you?  --Jim Broede
