Please, don't be disappointed.

I’m too easily disappointed. But that’s not necessarily a problem. Because I immediately look for ways to cope. To deal effectively with the disappointment. Asking, what can I do about it? Usually, there’s something. Such as fixing a troubling situation. By achieving a better understanding of the circumstances and all the players involved.  Helps, too. By diverting one’s mind. To other not-so-disappointing matters. Perhaps with humorous overtones. Better that. Than dwelling endlessly on disappointments. With the potential to make things worse. Also, it’s far better being disappointed in one’s self. Rather than in others. Anyway, this is kind of stuff. That I like to muse about. Hope the rest of you aren’t disappointed. --Jim Broede
