Love has to be it's own reward.

My goal is to practice what I preach. Don’t always do that. Maybe that’s everyone’s shortcoming. Certainly, it’s mine. Though I get better at doing as I say. But far from perfect. Never will be. Because it’s damn difficult. In fact, impossible. I talk a lot about love. The concept. And how it should be practiced. And that’s where I’d like to excel. To practice what I preach. One thing about love. I know how to fall in love. And to pretty much stay in love. For a long, long, long time. Love has to be continuously cultivated. Renewed. Revitalized. Virtually every day. I do it. Because that gives me sustenance. Pure pleasure. True love has to be it’s own reward. –Jim Broede
