Don't wanna lose my soul.

Wonder why I’m drawn to the concept of socialism. Maybe it’s that I have no overwhelming desire to make lots of money. Just enough to get by. Reasonably well. Comfortably. For the basic necessities of life. Health care. So I can live for a long time. And be physically active. Education. Because I’m curious. Love to learn. Helps to keep my mind exercised. Also, seems to me that socialism is far more moral than capitalism. Comes closer to serving the common good. If my major goal in life were to become a millionaire or billionaire – well, then I’d favor being a greedy capitalist. Might even become a Republican. In which case, I’d have lost my soul. Having sold it to the highest bidder. –Jim Broede
