The adventure of living and loving.
I don't want to change the world. Because that's impossible. It would be wasted effort. So I try to make the best of the world as it is. Of course, there are things I don't like about the world. And I'd change. If I could. Such as the nature of politics. And I'd change some social and economic structures. But as long as I can't, I might as well enjoy the adventure of living and loving. --Jim Broede

We also have the opportunity to create our own little worlds. Microcosms. That can be very healthy. Writers do it all the time. They become creative. Some of the finest stories came out of writers' imaginations. --Jim
I suspect some people live their stories rather than write 'em. That may even be better than writing. To actually live it. I do 'em both. I have the best of both worlds. --Jim
