You've been duped.

Some of you have been duped by the Republicans. In opposing health care reform. I'd recommend that you read this column by Paul Krugman. In today's New York Times. --Jim Broede

Here is where you are inherently wrong. I know of no one, on either side, who does not support health care reform. What is not suported, by those who have any intelligence, is THIS bill of health care reform. If the government doesn't fix the current problems of waste and abuse, they will be simply adding another catastrophe onto the others.

If even half of the money proposed for this current fiasco were spend on reigning in the abuse and waste, we wouldn't need a 2,000+ page bill, that even attorneys have a hard time understanding.

I certainly hope the representatives listen to their constituents, and not the scare tactics of the socialists.

This bill is a step in the right direction. Doing nothing is just that -- doing nothing. Living with the current mess. Which means costs will continue to spiral and the insurance companies will keep making obscene profits. Let's get the show on the road. With a public option. Long live socialized medicine! --Jim

One step forward; 10 steps back.

One giant step forward and 10 tiny steps back. We're still ahead of the game. Adds up to a mile forward and one yard back. I'll take that. Depends on how you measure. I'm an optimist and a positive thinker. You're a pessimist and a negative stinker. Long live socialism! Long live the beauty of life! Long live love! Long live camaraderie! --Jim
