To stay on top, give it your all.

I'm disgusted with Democrats. They're too complacent. They don't push hard enough for their programs. And they aren't ruthless enough in dealing with Republicans. Add it all up and Democrats are capable of losing the U.S. Senate race Tuesday in Massachusetts. Democrats once thought they were a shoe-in. All they had to do was go through the motions. And they'd win. Well, now in what may well be the most progressive state in the union, it's quite possible that a very conservative Republican may win. But it's more a case of the Democrats losing because of over-confidence. Democrats should take nothing for granted. They should campaign as if their life depended on the outcome. Maybe this will wake up the Democrats. But I doubt it. They got Obama elected. But then they went into hibernation. If you wanna stay on top, you'd better give it your all.
