Liberals are smarter.

It's an interesting story. In the National Geographic. That liberals and atheists are higher in the evolution scale than conservatives and extremely religious people. In fact, liberals and atheists have an 11-point higher average IQ than their opposites. Causes them to be able to better adapt to changing conditions in the world. Anyway, it's worth thinking about, isn't it? Click below. For details. --Jim Broede

Ahhh...but the pure GENIUS(using Kanazawa's example of fighting a forest fire) is the Conservative, who uses the thought process, to figure out that throwing anything on the fire, just to try it out, can have disastrous affects. "Thinking through" is much better than pushing any perceived, very possibly erroneous, solution through.

The substantially off-target health care bill is a prime example of trying ANYTHING, just to make a change, even if the vast majority of those affected disagree, with PROVEN flaws pointed out.

It seems you may not have read the entire article, to see the explanations of the flaws in his theories. I suppose it is human nature, though, to pick and choose what we want to accept from what we read.

Yes, I do tend to discard many conservative arguments. Because they don't make sense to my liberal-oriented mind. They seem rather stupid. Just as a conservative mind thinks that liberal arguments are rather stupid. I'm a liberal because I'm a liberal. I am what I am. And I have no qualms about that. --Jim

Do you honestly believe that every single opinion/view, statement by the Liberal Left, is the only correct one?? How truly narrow-minded and prejudiced are you??

I've never said that every single statement by a liberal is the correct one. Or that every single statement by a conservative is a wrong one. Rather, I'm saying that on the whole, I am biased in favor of liberals. Rather heavily biased. I like some conservatives. Such as David Brooks. It's the loonies that I write off. And these days, they seem to dominate the conservative movement. A left wing loonie isn't nearly as loonie as a right wing loonie. --Jim

Many so-called liberals aren't nearly liberal enough for me. Maybe I'm left of liberal. Maybe I'm left of Olbermann. I'm seeking new horizons. --Jim

I'm an ex-sportswriter. Maybe that's one thing I like about Olbermann. His love for sports. He was a sportswriter/sportscaster. Little wonder he got into the political realm. Sports. Politics. They're both games. Often, with lots of cheating. And mind games as well as the physical games. --Jim

Seems to me, knightstone, that you are trying to fit life into a neat little package. So that everything has meaning. Let me suggest that sometimes there is no meaning. It just is. One must learn to accept some things without meaning. --Jim
