They're off crying to mama.

I've seen sore losers in my days. But none as sore as Republicans. They've lost the health care insurance reform battle. But still, they persist in stalling the fine tuning of the legislation. Even though Republicans know they can't stop it. But hey, they apparently feel it's all right to go into childish thumb-sucking mode and go off crying to mama. Click below. Read about it. It's darn funny. --Jim Broede

They are doing exactly what they are supposed to do. File amendments. Do you know the essence of Senator Coburn's amendments?? I didn't think so.

#1. Prohibits prescribing erectile disfunction drugs to convicted child molesters, rapists, and sex offenders, and prohibits coverage of abortion drugs. It also stops fraudulent payments for drugs prescribed by DEAD providers, and to dead patients. A Government audit found about 65,000 instances of improper prescriptions, costing about $65 MILLION over 2 years!

#2. Ensures that, for every bureaucrat added to a Government agency, as a result of this bill, there is a corresponding decrease at that agency. As this bill stands, it will add over 25,000 NEW government bureaucrats! 16,500 at IRS, and at least 10,000 new HHS bureaucrats. The costs for implementing the provisions of the bill are in the TENS OF BILLIONS.

#3. Strikes the creation of a $375 million initiative, to promote personal and FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY! This is laughable, considering it DUPLICATES existing programs(that already cost billions/year,), and adds hundreds of millions of $$$ to the national debt. Not to mention--we are to take advice from a government that has amassed a $12 TRILLION debt???

There are 13 in all. I didn't want to overwhelm you here. You can read them here:http://coburn.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=RightNow.Home&ContentRecord_id=8c4d4f45-802a-23ad-4748-3ac0f35d4335

Can you say you would really disagree with these amendments???

Oh yeah, how about exempting bandaids wheelchairs and hospital beds from new federal taxation??(#8)
