I think the fact that Barack Obama has a 44 percent approval rating is tremendous. A positive. Of course, Republicans will say that's a sign that Obama will be only a one-term president. That's malarky. Seems to me that Obama is the most popular politician in America. If he isn't -- well, then tell me the name of another politician that can get as high as a 44 percent approval rating. You can't name one. That even gets close to 44 percent. Because virtually every politician in the USA is a jerk. Politicians are thought of as scumbags. Liars. Thieves. Idiots. Anything but reputable. With the rare exception of Obama. He's considered a pretty decent and intelligent guy, for the most part. Not by Republicans and racists. But that's to be expected. After all, what does a Republican know? Very little. --Jim Broede
