God ain't practicing his preachings.

I don't always practice what I preach. But I admit it. So in that sense, I practice what I preach. By not practicing what I preach. Now if I was adamant in proclaiming that I practice what I preach, I'd be a liar. At least I'm honest about it. Frankly, I find it hard to practice what I preach. Sometimes, I do. But not always. Depends on the degree of difficulty. I think it's seldom that anyone consistently practices what he/she preaches. That's human nature. I'd like the world to be a better place. And I advocate that. But I don't come close to doing enough to make it a better place. Instead, I just accept the world as it is. I'm not about to try to change it. Because that's a far too formidable task. I doubt that even god could change the world. God created something over which he has no control. I know that god preaches love. But I'm not sure that god always practices love. I see signs/instances of a vengeful god. Anyway, I'm comforted by knowimng that god doesn't always practice what he preaches. That gives me leeway. To do the same. --Jim Broede
