With magical and intimate words.
I like to sooth and woo with words. The spoken and written word. Amazing, isn't it? The difference that words can make. I like to make love with words. Maybe even more so than physical love. Words come easier for me. Easier than physical expression. I can't dance. I can't sing. I can't even float on my back. In that sense, I'm a physical cripple. But I can express myself with words. That has always surprised me. And I haven't always appreciated it. I would have liked to be an athlete. Maybe a baseball player. Or even a good dancer. Or a decent singer. But those would be hopeless pursuits. But I had to find a natural way to express myself. And it was with words. With meaningful words. That's the way I reach another soul. Another being. My aim isn't to connect with many. Just a few. A handful. Maybe one or two others. With magical words. Intimate words. Often tailored for a specific being or two. --Jim Broede
