I stop for sheep and goats.
One nice thing about Sardinia. I have to yield to sheep and goats. Often enough. Sheep and goats get the right of way when I'm walking or driving. They are allowed to cross the road at any time. To stop traffic. And pedestrians. It's been a long time since I've had to yield to sheep or goats in the USA. Can't remember when. But it's happned to me at least a half dozen times in my two months in Sardinia. And I like it. It's a nice way to slow down. And get one's self into the right frame of mind. --Jim Broede
