Times are bad, but life is good.
I'm living in a city of 30,000 inhabitants. And beyond that, are many, many sheep. I see sheep grazing in the city limits. And it's a nice pastoral scene. I even see a shepherd tending the flock. Along with his faithful dog. And a magazine to pass the time. This is life in Carbonia in Sardinia. I also walked through a residential neighborhood yesterday. And heard a crowing rooster. The locals tell me the economy ain't good. People are without jobs. But still, life is good. If one just takes a walk. And looks around. --Jim Broede
