I belong wherever I am.

I’m sitting in the sunshine. In Piazza Roma. In Sardinia. Just across from City Hall in Carbonia. Where I’m spending the winter. But in exactly two days from this moment, I’ll be flying over the Mediterranean Sea. To Rome. To catch a flight to Philadelphia. And then another flight to Minneapolis. And by the end of the day on Thursday, Minnesota time, I’ll be home. All be it, I’m not sure what to call home. Because I feel very much at home in Sardinia. With my true love. Maybe it’s time for me to start declaring myself a citizen of the world. Yes, I belong wherever I am at in a particular moment. Such as Piazza Roma in Carbonia. –Jim Broede
