I don’t mind paying taxes. In fact, I think it’s rather patriotic. I’m even willing to pay more taxes to help get the nation’s financial house in order. After all, I want rich people taxed at a higher rate. And if that happens, I’ll gladly kick in more myself. Even though I’m merely a beleaguered middle class retiree. And far from monetarily rich. I don’t quite understand the Republicans calling for trillion-dollar tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires. Seems to me that’s downright unpatriotic.
