Pretending we don't have a problem.

I’d like a society in which everyone is guaranteed a job. Because it’s the decent and wise thing to do. Anybody that wants to work should have a job. Maybe it’ll
take a government-sponsored works program. Building and fixing the infrastructure. Yes, things that benefit society. And it’d sure be a boost to the economy if everyone was put to work. Something like 14 million Americans are unemployed. And as a nation, we are doing virtually nothing about it. We’re just ignoring the problem. Pretending that it isn’t a problem.
