Gotta do what one has gotta do.

A guy on the Alzheimer’s message boards has suggested that some care-givers are treating their loved ones like ‘pieces of meat.’ By not adhering strictly to their marriage vows. By cultivating too close relationships before their spouses die. And he’s castigated some for doing it. Personally, I remained loyal to my dear Jeanne. Right up to the end. That’s my way. But I wouldn’t be judgmental about what others do. It’s strictly an individual thing. No clear-cut right or wrong. Some care-givers may have to cultivate a relationship just to survive.
